Terms & Conditions

All bookings are subject to these Terms and Conditions. Variation to the Terms and Conditions may be made from time to time and if you agree to use any of our services you agree to our terms and conditions.

Our charges are set out on each page. You will be deemed to have accepted the charges of Happy Dog Care upon confirmation of your booking.

Happy Dog Care fees are per day including day of arrival and day of departure. All deposits are due at the time of booking.  If you are a new client the deposit will be due after the introductory meeting has taken place.Please note food and bedding needs to be provided by client.Happy Dog Care charges are payable in consideration of the service's that we operate.

Your booking will not be confirmed for dog hotel until Happy Dog Care have recieved a booking form with a 50% deposit as confirmation.

On occasions Happy Dog Care at its sole discretion may proceed with a booking without advance payment of its charges. If the charges are not paid within ten days of the invoice Happy Dog Care reserves the right to charge an administration fee of 25% each and every week the account is unpaid.

If a deposit is not sent with your booking form we are not able to guarantee you a place.

Cancellations

If you have booked dog hotel you must give at least 7 Days notice to cancel or you will be charged in full.

Your dog

We cannot accept bookings for badly behaved or aggressive dogs.Happy Dog Care may terminate an engagement immediately if it is reasonably thought that a dog is badly behaved or aggressive either towards humans, animals or property.

Proof of vaccinations, vet health check, and recently wormed and treated for fleas and ticks are required. Kennel cough vaccination is compulsory.

Please note The Control Of Dogs Order 1992 mandates that any dog in a public place must wear a collar with the name and address including post code of the owner engraved or written on it or engraved on a tag, whether the dog is chipped or not.

It is the owners responsibility to ensure that www.petlog.co.uk hold their correct details as in the unlikely event that your dog is lost we would be unable to collect or retrieve if the details that we hold on file are not the same as those held by petlog.

You must ensure that your dog is in good health and free from fleas and is adequately wormed. If Happy Dog Care believes that your dog is not in good health we reserve the right to seek veterinary advice on your behalf and you will be liable for the veterinary fees.

If it becomes necessary, your dog will be taken to a veterinary surgeon. You are responsible for any fees that are reasonably incurred during your absence or during the course of an assignment.

Owner undertakes to make full disclosure of any quality or characteristic which might make your dog not suitable for home boarding including behavioural or health problems, anti-social behaviour including aggression, incontinence/lack of house training or excessive loud barking/whining. Failure on the part of the owner to disclose any matter which might render owner’s dog unsuitable for dog Hotel and will be deemed a material omission amounting to a fundamental breach of our agreement.

All efforts will be made to contact the owner in the event of an emergency. We recommend owners provide us with a contact number of a trusted 3rd party should we be unable to make contact. However, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog’s health provided it is at all times acting in the best interests of the dog and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. Owner is responsible for payment of any veterinary fees incurred by us.

Q: What is your application process ?


A: After initial contact via phone or email we will schedule a free consultation at your convenience with you and your dog (s). At this meeting we will discuss your specific need, gather information about your dog's routine and care.

Q: Will i meet the sitter/walker ?

A: Yes

Q: Do you offer upgrade options to extend the walk/day care/boarding ?

A: Yes, We are very flexible. Our goal is to provide a superior service and meet your needs.

Q: Can i request off-hours sitting/walking ?

A: Yes

Q: What is your cancellation policy ?

A: We ask that you notify us by telephone within 7 Days  to cancel any services.

Q: What do you do in case of emergency ?

A: We first call the client to discuss the situation and best course of action. If the client cannot be reached and medical attention is required we will take the dog to the veterinary practice.

Q: What security mesures do you have in place ?

A: This is something that we take seriously and have a number of mesures that we have put in place to protect you and your dog. We keep your details confidential. All dogs will wear a tag
when out walking with us. Everybody employed at Happy Dog Care is carefully Checked, and experienced in animal care.

Privacy Policy

Happy Dog Care does not share e-mail addresses or other personal information gathered either directly by users of the Happy Dog Care site or from log files compiled in monitoring usage of the Happy Dog Care site. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages and Site structure and is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.

With respect to cookies: We do not set any cookies. (These are small files of information that some websites use to identify their users, and also monitor how and when a site is used.
